Boeing: wins Pentagon deal for military helicopters

5 million dollar contract for the replacement of four UH-1N military helicopters, the Pentagon said on Monday.
The US Defense Department said the deal is part of a 2.4 billion dollar contract to provide up to 84 MH-139 helicopters, as well as training devices, and associated support equipment.
The work will be predominantly located in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania. If all options are exercised, the work is expected to be completed by September 2031, the Pentagon said.
Boeing has also been awarded a smaller, 9 million dollar contract to modify a previously awarded contract, taking into account changes in the production of P-8A maritime aircraft for the Navy.
