Boeing: Virgin Australia converts 737 MAX order
(CercleFinance.com) - Virgin Australia has agreed to convert ten orders for the 737 MAX into the MAX 10, which is the largest plane of the 737 MAX family, Boeing said in a statement this Wednesday.
The aircraft - which is scheduled for delivery as from 2022 - will provide Virgin Australia with additional flexibility and capability to support network and operations, the airline said.
Australia's second-largest airline will be the country's first operator of the 737 MAX.
