Apple: signs patent deal with Imagination
(CercleFinance.com) - UK silicon and software IP specialist Imagination said that it has replaced a license agreement with Apple, first announced in 2014, with a new multi-year deal.
Under the terms of the new agreement, Apple will have access to a wider range of Imagination's intellectual property in exchange for license fees.
Imagination's graphics, AI and connectivity technologies are used in phones, cars, homes, and workplaces. The firm was acquired in 2017 by private equity investment fund Canyon Bridge.
