Amazon: towards a delivery platform in Metz
(CercleFinance.com) - The president of Metz Métropole, Jean-Luc Bohl, confirmed on Monday morning talks with the American ecommerce giant Amazon, for the installation of a giant delivery platform on the plateau of Frescaty, in the agglomeration of Metz.
I am assured that Amazon will not go anywhere else, said, Jean-Luc Bohl said, with France Blue confirming rumours that had been seen in the press on the matter for several months.
According to local media reports, this platform is expected to occupy about 19 hectares, with 185,000 m2 of warehouses. Finally, between 2,000 and 3,000 jobs could be created as a result.
