Amazon: to open fourth center in Oregan, in Portland.
(CercleFinance.com) - Amazon today announced the opening of its third fulfillment center in Oregan, in Portland, which will create over 1,000 full-time jobs.
The e-commerce giant recently announced the creation of a fulfillment center in Troutdale and Salem, in addition to the sorting center of Hillsboro and Prime Now in Portland.
These three centers in Oregon will employ over 3,500 full-time employees once the sites are opened, from 2018 onwards.
Sanjay Shah, vice-president of Amazon North America said that the group has announced the creation of its second center at the end of August and that it is exciting for Amazon to announce our third center in Oregon today.
