Alphabet: new Casio watch with Wear OS by Google
(CercleFinance.com) - Japan's Casio announced on Thursday the release of a shock-resistant smartwatch that runs on the Wear OS by Google operating system.
The GSW-H1000 model is equipped with features to help keep fit through activity goals and fitness tracking, such as calculating commuting time.
Equipped with an optical sensor that measures heartbeats, the new watch has a compass, altitude and air pressure sensor and offers water resistance to a depth of 200 metres.
Casio says that this is the first smartwatch in the G-Shock range to be powered by the Wear OS, it being particularly useful for different sporting activities.
