Alphabet: Google extends solar partnership with E.ON

ON is extending its partnership with Google around Project Sunroof, a platform combining technologies such as Google Earth and machine learning, which determines the solar potential of German buildings.
The energy group, which aims to become the leader in this segment in Germany in 2019 underlines that over 10,000 customers in Germany have requested a detailed initial analysis of their roof's solar potential.
Sunroof will be made available in the UK over the coming weeks, and E.ON and Google are also preparing for its market launch in Italy.
