Adobe Systems: beats consensus in Q1

6% today, the day after it announced EPS growth of 46% at 1.17 dollar in its first accounting quarter.
Adjusted EPS reached 1.55 dollar, 11 cents above the consensus.
The software publisher's revenues rose by 24% to a record 2.08 billion dollars, driven by a 28% increase in its digital media business, which includes its Creative Cloud suite.
Adobe Systems raised its subscription prices to Creative Suite last October, said Aurel BGC, adding that, for its current quarter the group aims for EPS of 1.53 dollar, with revenues of 2.15 billion dollars, slightly above expectations.
