AT&T: completes sale of data centers to Brookfield
(CercleFinance.com) - AT&T has said that it has completed the sale of its data center colocation operations and assets to Brookfield for 1.
1 billion dollars.
This means that customer contracts, employees, assets, leases and facilities have now been full transferred to Brookfield.
The US telecoms giant previously announced a strategic alliance with Brookfield, which included the transfer of these operations and assets.
Meanwhile, Brookfield has established a fully-owned company, Evoque, to operate the data centers.
