Assa Abloy: buys Dutch senior care specialist FocusCura
(CercleFinance.com) - World leading lockmaker Assa Abloy of Sweden said on Friday that it has agreed to buy FocusCura, a Dutch company that makes senior care products.
FocusCura has developed software which, in combination with other peronal alarm, home access and medication products, enables elderly care organisations to focus on care.
Assa Abloy gave no value for the deal to buy the company, which it said generated sales of about 13 million euros last year, expecting it to dilute its EPS to begin with.
The acquisition is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2020.
Assa Abloy already owns Phoniro, a maker of keyless electronic locks for elderly care housing.
