SAS: signs agreement with CDB Aviation for 4 Airbus planes
(CercleFinance.com) - CDB Aviation has announced a sale and leaseback agreement for four Airbus aircraft with the Scandinavian airline, SAS.
The agreement includes three A320neo and one A350-900 planes, which are leased to SAS on a long-term basis. The airline already took delivery of the A350 on Friday 26 March 2021. The remaining three A320neos are scheduled for delivery in the spring of 2022.
Magnus Örnberg, CFO of SAS, said that the transaction enables the group to finance its transition to a unified fleet, with significantly reduced emissions in a cost-effective manner.
