Alfa Laval: wins Turkish water treatment deal
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish engineering group Alfa Laval has signed an agreement worth 210 million Swedish kronor (about 20 million euros) for the supply of water treatment systems to a group of Turkish shipowners.
The deal was signed in Istanbul with an association of about 50 shipowners, the company said.
The systems are intended for small vessels, meaning that the systems themselves will be very small, it added.
Interest in water treatment system has gradually increased since the start of 2018, Alfa Laval said in a statement.
