Alfa Laval: wins processing plant deal in Uzbekistan
(CercleFinance.com) - Swedish engineering group Alfa Laval has won an order to supply equipment to a vegetable oil processing plant in Uzbekistan, in a deal worth approximately 60 million Swedish kronor (about 6 million euros).
The Lund-based company - which makes equipment such as fluid handling systems - said the order includes different equipment such as separators and plate heat exchangers, which will be used to process crude vegetable oil (such as sunflower seed oil) into fully refined and edible oil.
Deliveries are set to occur in 2020, it said.
