Ericsson: signs AI network deal with Telefonica
(CercleFinance.com) - Ericsson said it has penned a new four-to-six-year managed services deal for AI-powered network operations with Spain's Telefonica.
This will apply in the UK, Colombia, Peru, Ecuador and Uruguay.
Under the terms of the deal, the Swedish telecoms gear maker will provide services such as day-to-day monitoring and troubleshooting - powered by its AI and automation products.
Ericsson has had a long-standing partnership in technology and services with Telefonica.
