Technip Energies: wins EPCC contract in India
(CercleFinance.com) - Technip Energies announces that it has been awarded a significant engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract by Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) for its BR9 expansion project in Barauni, India.
The EPCC contract covers the installation of a new one million tonne per annum hydrocracking unit (OHCU), a gas processing unit (FGTU) and associated infrastructure.
The OHCU, combined with downstream refining units, will enable the production of BS VI grade fuels - similar to Euro VI grade fuels - and petrochemicals, the group says.
