Ahold Delhaize: strategic partnership deal with Hanshow
(CercleFinance.com) - Ahold Delhaize said that it has signed a strategic partnership with China's Hanshow Technology, covering digital in-store applications.
The Dutch retailer said that its European brands will deploy Hanshow's electronic shelf labels across their store networks.
In addition, the two companies will set up a joint innovation Lab to develop new in-store features.
Ahold Delhaize and Hanshow began their collaboration in early 2018, with electronic shelf labels (ESL) in stores at Delhaize Belgium and Albert Heijn in the Netherlands.
ESL provides customers with product information and enables them to pay conveniently with mobile phones or NFC cards.
