ABN Amro: Nordea's Bornfeld named as chief of technology.

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch bank ABN Amro has appointed Nordea's Christian Bornfeld as its new chief innovation and technology officer, as from March 2018.

Bornfeld is currently the chief operating officer of personal banking at Nordea, responsible for IT, operations, strategic programs and business risk implementation and support, the group said.

Before joining Nordea, Bornfeld held various executive-level positions at Danske Bank and IBM.

He will replace Johan van Hall, who has worked at ABN Amro for 35 years, and has contributed to the integration of two banking IT platforms and to preparations for the IPO.
