ABN Amro: Dutch State reduces stake to 63%.

(CercleFinance.com) - The Dutch state has sold 65 million ABN Amro Group shares at a price of 22.
75 euros per share, reducing its stake in the nationalised bank from 70% to 63%.

NL Financial Investments, the Dutch State's investment arm, previously stated that it intended to divest its remaining stake in ABN Amro over time.

ABN Amro said that it will not receive any of the transaction's proceeds.

ABN Amro shares are currently down 2.6% at 22.6 euros on Euronext Amsterdam.
