Altice: Free could stop broadcasting its channels tonight
(CercleFinance.com) - According to information gleaned from the business daily Les Echos, negotiations between Iliad, the parent company of Free, and Altice, concerning the broadcast of BFM TV, RMC Découverte and RMC Story, are at a standstill.
What is the result? Free could cut access to the channels in question tonight, under penalty of being subjected to paying a 100,000-euro penalty per day, according to the terms of a decision issued by the French courts.
However, nothing would prevent an agreement from being reached between both groups by tonight, says Les Echos, so, let's wait and see!
