FCA: temporary closures ahead in response to coronavirus?
(CercleFinance.com) - Fiat Chrysler Automobiles announced on Wednesday that it intends to intensify its measures to combat the spread of the coronavirus, a resolution that could pass, if necessary, by the temporary closure of certain factories in Italy.
The car maker - which says it wants to comply with the new directives given by the government - in particular says that it plans to ramp-up of disinfection procedures in its workplaces, as well as in toilets, changing rooms and sanitary facilities at its sites.
These steps will be accompanied by a reduction in production rates, specifies FCA.
Last month, the group set up a program to develop distance work.
