FCA: quarterly revenue dips, but EPS above consensus

(CercleFinance.com) - Following the announcement of merger plans with Peugeot on Thursday morning, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) has unveiled adjusted diluted EPS of 0.
81 euro for the third quarter, two cents above the consenus.

The Italo-American carmaker - which owns the Jeep and Fiat brands - saw its adjusted EBIT rise by 5% to 1.96 billion euros, giving an operating margin of 7.2%, up 40 basis points, on net revenues that fell by 1% to 27.3 billion euros.

"The positive momentum we have demonstrated over recent quarters solidifies our confidence in our ability to achieve our full-year 2019 guidance," FCA said.

The shares are currently up 3.8% in New York.
