Euronext: cash volumes down 3.6% in December
(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily transactions of 8,351 million euros on its cash markets in December 2019, down 3.
6% y-o-y, although up 1.5% from November.
The pan-European stockmarket operator stated that transactions in ETF index funds fell by 21% y-o-y, with an average daily transaction value on the ETF order book of 208 million euros.
In December 2019, the overall average daily volume of derivatives traded fell by 11.6% y-o-y to 618,023 contracts, although is up 13.5% from the previous month.
