Euronext: cash volumes up 12.7% in August
(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has announced average daily transactions of 7.
95 billion euros on its cash markets in August 2019, up 12.7% y-o-y.
The pan-European stockmarket operator - which integrated the Oslo Exchange from July this year - also said that transactions in ETF index funds leapt by 54% y-o-y, with an average daily transaction value on the ETF order book of 270 million euros.
The overall average daily volume of derivatives traded rose by 15.2% y-o-y to 622,549 contracts, while the average daily volume on the spot foreign exchange market rose by 14.7% to 22.31 billion dollars.
