Euronext: ministry greenlights Oslo Børs takeover
(CercleFinance.com) - Euronext has said that it has received approval from the Norwegian Ministry of Finance for its acquisition of 100% of the capital of the Norwegian stock exchange operator, Oslo Børs VPS, a deal which Euronext wishes to finalise towards the end of June.
It has already obtained a majority stake of 53.4% of its capital, including in the form of irrevocable guarantees, which satisfies the minimum holding condition of 50% for the implementation of its public offer, which was recently extended until 31 May.
