Euronext: extends offer on Oslo Børs
(CercleFinance.com) - Late on Monday Euronext announced today a change in its offer for the acquisition of Oslo Børs VPS shares by extending the period of its bid.
Euronext is therefore extending its offer until 6 pm on 31 May 2019. All other conditions of the offer remain unchanged.
As announced on 8 April 2019, Euronext received the go-ahead from Finanstilsynet, the Norwegian financial supervisory authority, recommending its approval as the appropriate owner of up to 100% of Oslo Børs VPS' capital.
The pan-European stockmarket operator is now just waiting for the final approval from the Norwegian Ministry of Finance in mid-May, a decision that is the final condition to finalise the acquisition of the Norwegian stock exchange.
