Wolters Kluwer: completes sale of health books
(CercleFinance.com) - Wolters Kluwer has completed the sale of certain health books to US educational publisher Ascend Learning, the Dutch group said on Wednesday.
The assets - which generated sales of approximately 11 million dollars (9 million euros) in 2018 - include print and digital books in specialties such as dental hygiene and massage therapy, it said.
Wolters Kluwer said that the divestment is intended for it to better align its health learning, research and practice (HLRP) business content portfolio for growth in the core medicine and nursing segments.
