Wolters Kluwer: buys back 10 million euros of own shares

(CercleFinance.com) - Dutch publisher Wolters Kluwer said on Friday it recently bought back 10 million euros worth of its own shares as part of a three-year share buyback program.


The company said in a regulatory filing that it acquired 200,983 of its own ordinary shares between 20 December and 27 December, at an average share price of 51 euros.

These repurchases are part of the 2016-2018 share buyback program announced in February 2016, under which Wolters Kluwer has repurchased 25 million shares for 1.05 billion euros, giving an average share price of 41.8 euros.

The shares of Wolters Kluwer are currently up 1% at 50.9 euros on Euronext Amsterdam.
