Aegon: completes sale of Polish and Romanian subsidiaries
(CercleFinance.com) - On Thursday Aegon announced that it had completed the sale of its operations in Poland and Romania to Vienna Insurance Group (VIG) for E125m.
The Dutch insurer points out that the transaction - which was initially announced in November 2020 - is the final stage in its complete withdrawal from Central and Eastern Europe, following the sale of its operations in Hungary and Turkey.
