Airbus: first H225M helicopter delivered to Singapore
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that the Singapore Air Force (RSAF) has taken delivery of its first H225M multirole helicopter, under a contract signed in 2016 with the local Ministry of Defence.
"Singapore's fleet of H225Ms is expected to assume a wide range of roles, including search and rescue, aeromedical evacuation, as well as humanitarian assistance and disaster relief operations," Airbus said.
Airbus says that 104 H225Ms are currently in service worldwide, used by Brazil, France, Indonesia, Malaysia, Mexico, Thailand and Kuwait, accumulating over 143,000 flight hours.
