Airbus: last H145 helicopter delivered to German Army
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announced on Friday that it has delivered the seventh and final H145 light twin-engine helicopter to Bundeswehr, the German Army's search and rescue service.
The delivery, which was completed in line with budget and on time, will enable the Bundeswehr to operate the helicopter quickly from its base in Holzdorf, in the north of the country.
The new H145 is equipped with high-performance cameras, searchlights, emergency beacon systems, medical equipment, rescue winches and hook-up systems for the installation of fire extinguishers, amongst other things.
