Airbus: sign an order of A321XLR with Vietjet
(CercleFinance.com) - The Vietnamese airline Vietjet has announced its intention to add the A321XLR to its fleet, with a firm order of 15 aircraft and the conversion of five A321neo aircraft in its existing order book.
The airline has also signed a new training agreement with Airbus Services. This will enable Airbus to install two new complete flight simulators of the A320 family at the Ho Chi Minh City training centre.
Vietjet will be one of the first airlines to receive the A321XLR. The addition of the plane to its fleet will enable Vietjet to expand its network, by travelling longer routes in Asia and destinations as far away as Australia and Russia.
