Airbus: 9m earnings up 50%
(CercleFinance.com) - The aerospace and defense group Airbus has published 9m 2019 EPS that is up 49% at 2.
81 euros, with adjusted EBIT up 51% at 4,133 million euros.
Revenues increased by 14% to 46.2 billion euros, mainly reflecting higher deliveries, a favourable mix and positive FX factors. The group delivered a total of 571 commercial aircraft, compared to 503 a year earlier.
Airbus has updated its forecasts for 2019 to take into account potential deliveries of around 860 commercial aircraft. As such, it now forecasts free cash flow (before M&A) and customer financing of around 3 billion euros.
