Airbus: Exomars Rover leaves the UK
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus announces that the ExoMars rover of the European Space Agency is leaving the UK to join the Airbus site in Toulouse.
It will undergo a major series of tests before being delivered to Thales Alenia Space.
The ExoMars rover is equipped with a two-metre drill to take deep samples and look for evidence of life on Mars - whether at present or in the past.
The rover has nine instruments that will help scientists explore the red planet in stages.
