Airbus Helicopters: acquires Aersud in Italy
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus Helicopters strengthens its presence in Italy with the acquisition of Aersud Elicotteri, its distributor and partner for 50 years.
Aersud helped Airbus Helicopters gain market share in Italy, especially in the aerial work, business aviation and emergency medical services segments thanks to the Airbus single-engine H125 and twin-engine H145 helicopters.
“With over 250 helicopters in service and more than 90 operators in the country, Italy is an important market for Airbus Helicopters, and we are here to stay,” said Bruno Even, Airbus Helicopters CEO.
