This aircraft is the first of 15 A330neo aircraft ordered by Avolon. Azul is a Brazilian company that flies to 108 destinations in South America, the US and Portugal.
The airline will use the A330neo - Airbus' new-generation A330 - to expand its network of international flights between Brazil, Europe and the US.
It is equipped with a three-class cabin that can accommodate 34 passengers in business class, 96 in economy Xtra and 168 in economy class.
