Airbus: ArianeGroup signs agreement with PTScientists
(CercleFinance.com) - ArianeGroup has just signed with PTScientists a framework agreement for future collaborations on space-related transport and more generally travel into orbit and the moon's surface.
At a time of increased competition in the field of lunar missions, it underlines ArianeGroup's strong desire to position itself at the world level in terms of transport to the moon, notably thanks to Ariane 64, which is capable of routing 8.5 tonnes to lunar orbit, Airbus said.
Its partner PTScientists will provide its expertise in lunar landing gear.
The Moon is an important issue for ArianeGroup, and Ariane 64 will allow Europe to get there. It has all the necessary capabilities to go there and offers spatial transport services to those wishing to reach its orbit, said André Hubert Roussel, ArianeGroup's Chief Executive.
