(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has published EPS of 0.
05 euro for the first three months of 2019, against 0.37 euro a year ago, although its adjusted EBIT rose sharply to 549 million euros, against just 14 million euros in Q1 2018.

The plane manufacturer's sales rose by nearly a quarter to 12.5 billion euros, mainly reflecting the increase in commercial aircraft deliveries, thanks to improved production rates.

Airbus expects to deliver between 880 and 890 commercial aircraft in 2019, and on that basis, expects to post adjusted EBIT that is up approximately 15%, with free cash flow before mergers and acquisitions and customer funding, reaching approximately four billion euros.
