Airbus: SMBC Aviation Capital orders 65 A320neo
(CercleFinance.com) - SMBC Aviation Capital, the biggest aircraft leasing company, has increased its total backlog of the A320neo family to 181 aircraft after signing a firm order for 65 additional aircraft (15 A321neo and 50 A320neo).
The order was finalised in 2018 and included in the end-of-year order figures.
The agreement also provides for an increase of 15 A321neos, bringing SMBC Aviation Capital's orders to 30 for this type of aircraft: the A321neo will enable airlines to expand their networks.
