Airbus: 40 aircraft orders in February
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus won orders for 40 aircraft in February, distributed equally between the A380 and the A320 types.
The group delivered 38 A320 planes over the month to 25 clients as well as A330 and A350 XWB aircraft, including the first A350-1000.
The main order came from Emirates for 20 A380. Deliveries of this latest generation A380 aircraft to Emirates will start as early as 2020, guaranteeing a production rate of six aircraft per year over the next 10 years.
