Airbus: Tom Enders to leave in 2019

(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that its board of directors has decided to revamp its management team, with Tom Enders having informed it that he did not stand for a new term as CEO at the end of his current mandate, which will end with the AGM of April 2019.

Furthermore, Fabrice Brégier, Airbus' Chief Operating Officer (COO) & President of Airbus Commercial Aircraft has indicated that he would leave office in February 2018. He will be replaced by Guillaume Faury, currently the CEO of Airbus Helicopters.

Over 2018, the board of directors will evaluate potential candidates internally and externally for the post of CEO in order to determine Tom Enders' successor in time for validation at the group's AGM in 2019.
