Airbus: finalises order with Cathay Pacific.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced that it has finalised an order with Cathay Pacific Airways for 32 A321neo.
The aircraft will be operated by its subsidiary Cathay Dragon on lines connecting its Hong Kong base to different destinations across Asia.
The new A321neo will replace and modernise Cathay Dragon's existing fleet of 15 A320s and eight A321s and will enable the company to capitalise on growth opportunities in the region.
Cathay Dragon currently goes to 56 destinations in Asia, including 28 in mainland China. Its current fleet includes 23 aircraft from the A320 family and 24 A330-300 wide-body aircraft. Cathay Pacific is Asia's leading A330 operator.
