Airbus: will modernise A380 cabins for Qantas.
(CercleFinance.com) - Airbus has announced an agreement with the Australian company Qantas to upgrade the cabins of its twelve A380s in order to further optimise the comfort of long-haul flights while maximising their profitability.
The aircraft manufacturer will be responsible for the overall development of the upper deck, as well as the development and production of a new unique business class lounge.
The fitting phase will start in the second quarter of 2019 and all 12 aircraft are set to be updated by the end of 2020.
