Airbus: registers 203 net orders in H1.
(CercleFinance.com) - Yesterday evening, Airbus Group have a report for its orders: in June, marked by the 2017 Paris Air Show, the European aircraft manufacturer registered 138 orders aircraft from the A320 and A330 families, simultaneously delivering 64 A320, A330 and A350 aircraft.
The most important of these contracts concerned 100 A320neo planes (the re-engined version of the group's best-selling medium-haul aircraft) to GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS), the US aeronautical leasing group. Not to mention the A321neo and the A330-200.
Considering conversions and cancellations, 203 net orders were booked by Airbus over the first six months of the year. This has resulted in a total order book of 6,771 planes on this date, equivalent to 8.8 years of production at current output rates.
