STMicro: launches new generation of microprocessors
(CercleFinance.com) - STMicroelectronics today introduced the second generation of its STM32 MPUs (microprocessors), with a new architecture that is based on the same ecosystem and increasing performance and security for applications at the edge of industry and the IoT (Internet of Things).
The new STM32MP2 series devices continue its investment in application processors, combining 64-bit cores with Edge AI acceleration, advanced multimedia features, graphics processing and digital connectivity, it said.
ST's new 64-bit STM32MP2 series microprocessors feature SESIP Level 3 certification, industrial-ready interfaces and dedicated Edge AI acceleration.
