(CercleFinance.com) - Philips has entered into a collaboration agreement with US-based HeartFlow for improving diagnostics and treatment of patients with suspected coronary artery disease.
Under the agreement, Philips will promote the use of HeartFlow's analysis tools in conjunction with its catheters for imaging and assessing measurements of the patient's arteries.
Philips and HeartFlow's commercial collaboration will initially focus on the United States, with an intention to expand joint efforts globally in the near term.
Both companies are already exploring further collaborations in diagnostic imaging and advanced informatics.
