Heineken: completes China deal after regulatory approvals
(CercleFinance.com) - Heineken said on Tuesday that it has completed a strategic partnership in China after receiving regulatory approvals for the deal to proceed.
The Dutch brewer said it has completed all transactions to form a long-term partnership with China Resources Enterprise (CRE) and CR Beer for Mainland China, Hong Kong and Macau, as announced last November.
CRE has also become a Heineken shareholder.
The completion of these transactions enables Heineken, CRE and CR Beer to start to implement their licencing partnership.
