AkzoNobel: double acquisition in performance coatings.
(CercleFinance.com) - AkzoNobel has made two acquisitions to strengthen its position in supplying industrial, aerospace and automotive coatings.
The Dutch paint maker has bought UK-based Flexcrete Technologies, which focuses on the protection and repair of concrete substrates, and signed an agreement to acquire France's Disatech, which supplies adhesive films used in the aerospace, transportation and industrial equipment sectors.
Both acquisitions are fully coherent with the group's growth strategy, AkzoNobel CEO Ton Büchner said.
