ArcelorMittal: firm offers received for Dudelange and Liège
(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal announces this Friday that it has received a firm offer from Liberty House Group to buy its site in Dudelange (Luxembourg) and several finishing lines at its site in Liège (Belgium).
The steelmaker has thus received firm offers for all the assets it had to sell as part of its commitments to the European Commission to obtain its approval for the acquisition of Ilva, which was announced on Thursday.
For the record, in October ArcelorMittal had already received offers from Liberty House Group for the acquisition of its sites in Ostrava (Czech Republic), Galati (Romania), Skopje (Macedonia) and Piombino (Italy).
