(CercleFinance.com) - ArcelorMittal and its Indian competitor Tata Steel would be interested in the takeover of Bhushan Steel, which, according to Aurel BGC quoting the Indian channel BTVI, has a potential valuation of around 3.
5 billion dollars.
This is not the first time that ArcelorMittal has raised the issue of buying assets in India, with Bhushan Steel having already been mentioned in the press last month, the broker pointed out.
On its website, Bhushan Steel highlights that it is India's third-largest secondary steel producer, with a current steel production capacity of 5.6 million tonnes per year.
