SES: two agreements with Ethiopian broadcasters
(CercleFinance.com) - SES announces agreements with the Association of Ethiopian Broadcasters (AEB) and the Ethiopian Broadcasting Corporation (EBC) to develop the Ethiopian audio-visual sector and supply TV content dedicated to Ethiopian viewers.
As part of the agreement with the AEB, the most popular Ethiopian TV channels will migrate towards this new TV neighbourhood hosted by the Luxembourg operator's NSS-12 satellite at 57 degrees East.
As part of a separate agreement, the public and regional channels led by the public group EBC will also be broadcast on this dedicated TV neighbourhood. The Ethiopian content will primarily be available in HD on NSS-12.
